Key Changes Music Therapy Services began as an idea in the Fall of 2009 that quickly grew into what it has become –and will continue becoming– today.
I began Key Changes out of a desire to provide music therapy services to the people of the midlands after working with hospitalized children and adolescents at William S. Hall Psychiatric Institute in Columbia. While at Hall, I saw that children who responded to music inside the hospital frequently had no access to music therapy services in their community.
In April of 2010, I began to take the steps to launch Key Changes Music Therapy Services, and I opened my doors on August 18, 2010.
